Promising specific areas of cooperation are: construction of ketovy fish hatchery for 20 million juveniles; modernization of the existing production of the island company by expanding the range and increasing the volume of processing of aquatic biological resources; construction of a production refrigerator for 5000 tons of one-time storage and a fish waste processing plant.

In addition, the governor invited Mitsui to cooperate on the development of the aviation industry in the Sakhalin Region.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed in detail a number of issues of cooperation in the oil and gas, coal industries, energy, agriculture.
