Khabarovsk Territory will buy Belarusian agricultural equipment

By the end of the year in the Khabarovsk Territory it is planned to purchase up to 50 units of Belarusian equipment for agriculture, the governor’s press service reports.

Another forage harvester worth about 4,5 million rubles has already arrived at the address of the leader of the purchase, OOO Danilovka. About 60 percent of this amount was compensated by the Government of the Khabarovsk Territory within the framework of the profile target program.

According to the head of the department of technical and technological policy in agriculture of the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuffs, Alexander Rog-Kustov, the Belarusian agricultural machinery has established itself well in conditions of extreme farming. That is why the agrarians of the region for the most part prefer to buy equipment from this manufacturer.

“In general, more than half of all purchases from us are for Belarusian-made equipment. This year, the agrarians plan to purchase 48 units, and in total, about 2011 units have been purchased in the region since 200. These are mainly tractors, grain and forage harvesters, small-sized equipment. The regional government helps in procurement - up to 60% of the cost is compensated by the regional budget, ”said Alexander Rog-Kustov.

Cooperation in the field of agriculture the leadership of the Government of the region and the Republic of Belarus will be discussed next week. Colleagues from the union state will arrive in Khabarovsk with a return visit. Among the main topics are the prospects for the creation of an assembly production of Belarusian agricultural machinery on the territory of the Khabarovsk Territory and joint ventures in the field of crop and livestock production.
