FEFU concluded a memorandum with the Korean shipbuilding company Daewoo Shipbuilding Marine Engineering
Far Eastern Federal University and the world's largest shipbuilding company Daewoo Shipbuilding Marine Engineering (DSME, Republic of Korea) 22 July signed a memorandum of cooperation, the press service of the university said.
Within the framework of cooperation, joint research will be conducted in the areas of shipbuilding and the development of deposits of marine energy resources.
The implementation of these projects will be carried out on the basis of the FEFU School of Engineering with the use of serious scientific potential in such areas as shipbuilding, underwater robotics, ocean engineering, and energy. The Memorandum also provides for mutual exchanges: FEFU students will be able to acquire practical skills in production, and young DSME specialists - additional education at the university.
