Public Chamber of Yakutia intends to organize leisure activities for children

The Public Chamber of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) intends to deal with the issue of organizing leisure for children in order to somehow minimize the manifestations of cruelty in the teenage environment, said a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, deputy chairman of the Public Chamber of Yakutia Marina Bogoslovskaya In an interview with EastRussia.

"Recently we raided schools in all eight districts of the city of Yakutsk. The conclusions are not entirely comforting. Infrastructure for children's leisure is very little created: there are no playgrounds, accessible gyms, mugs, "- said Bogoslovskaya. According to her, such services are often provided on a paid basis, however not all parents can afford to pay. "As a result, children remain on the street unattended, because the parents either work or do not pay attention to the upbringing of the child," concludes Bogoslovskaya.
