Plenary session of the All-Russian Conference "Demographic Development of the Far East" will be broadcast live

On Monday, the All-Russian Conference “The demographic development of the Far East” opens in Khabarovsk. Plenary opens at 11 in the morning local time. The plenary session will be attended by Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Vyacheslav Shport, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Vladimir Solodov, Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East Sergey Kachaev, Assistant to the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Tatiana Klimenko. The report "Demographic Policy in the Russian Federation and the Far East of Russia" will be made by a member of the Expert Council under the Government of the Russian Federation, the general director of the Institute of Scientific and Public Expertise Sergei Rybalchenko.

Recall, 25-26 May in Khabarovsk will host the All-Russian Conference "Demographic Development of the Far East." The organizers are the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Government of the Khabarovsk Territory jointly with the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion and the Institute of Scientific and Public Expertise.

Leading experts will discuss the demographic situation and migration problems in the Far East with representatives of federal and regional authorities, public chambers, major Russian companies and socially oriented NGOs. The conference will present a vision of the situation at all levels of government - from the federal to the municipal. During the conference, the main directions of the Concept of Demographic Policy of the Far East for the period up to 2030 will be discussed, the development of which is planned to be implemented by the Ministry of Regional Development.

Heads of the Far Eastern regions will make reports on the results of the implementation of demographic programs. Representatives of the FMS of Russia, the Ministry of Labor of Russia, employers' associations and VTsIOM will talk about their views on the problem of migration in the Far East. At the “round tables” and panel discussions, experts will discuss support for fertility, family, parenthood and childhood, reducing mortality and supporting active longevity, attracting qualified specialists to new jobs; issues of reducing the outflow of the population and the preservation of indigenous peoples in the regions of the Far East.
